> Tell me then, O thou heir of the argument, what did Simonides
> say, and according to you truly say, about justice?
それでは言ってくれ。議論の後を継ぐ人よ。シモニデスは、またあなたに
よれば、正義についてどう言っているのか。
> He said that the repayment of a debt is just, and in saying
> so he appears to me to be right.
彼は、負債の返却は正しいと言った。そして、そう言うとき、彼は私には
正しいように思われる。
> > I should be sorry to doubt the word of such a wise and
> inspired man, but his meaning, though probably clear to you,
> is the reverse of clear to me.
私はそうした賢明な霊的な人の言葉を疑い謝るべきである。しかし、彼
の意味するところは、あなたには多分明らかだろうが、私に明らかなことと
反対のことである。

> mean, as we were now saying that I ought to return a return a
